We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist  to join our thriving dental practice in Chelmsford, United Kingdom. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and promoting oral health to our diverse patient base.

• Days: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 
• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene treatments, including scaling, polishing, and root planing
• Conduct thorough oral health assessments and develop personalised treatment plans
• Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Administer local anaesthesia and place temporary fillings as needed
• Collaborate closely with dentists and other team members to ensure optimal patient care
• Utilise digital radiography and 3D scanning equipment for diagnostic purposes
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Assist in the management of dental emergencies
• Stay current with the latest advancements in dental hygiene and therapy practices
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment

• Bachelor's degree in Dental Therapy or equivalent qualification
• Valid GDC registration as a Dental Hygiene/Therapist
• Current licence to practise as a Dental Therapist in the United Kingdom
• Proven experience in a dental hygiene and therapy role
• Proficiency in using digital radiography and 3D scanning equipment
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current dental hygiene and therapy practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements
• Empathetic and patient-centred approach to care
• Keen attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs

 Nursing cover cannot be guaranteed but a permanent decontamination nurse is available.
