- 24 hours over 3 days, Mon and Fri plus one other day
- 6-month Maternity cover
- Shifts are Mon and Tues 8.15-4.15pm, Weds to Fri 7.45-4.45pm
- Full Training provided – no experience necessary, although an interest in the dental /healthcare industry would be advantageous, possibly leading to a trainee post
- You will need to complete Hepatitis B injections for your own safety
- An occasional need to cover reception
- Free on street parking outside the practice
Ashby Dental & Implant Clinic is a high quality, primarily private practice and has been providing dentistry for nearly 50 years. They provide dentistry for patients in and around the beautiful Wetherby area. Treatments range from general dentistry, with most patients being on an in house plan, some Implants and Invisalign.
As a Decontamination Assistant you will keep the room and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile. You will use all equipment and machinery correctly and maintained regularly. Be familiar and comply with all health and safety rules and guidance, including PPE, COSHH, HTM01-05, CQC, infection control and waste disposal. You will work under the supervision of the Dental Nurse/Team to support the decontamination, sterilisation, packaging and storage of dental instruments for use within the practice.

- Previous experience in a healthcare or nursing profession would be advantageous
- A positive attitude, empathy, and the ability to communicate well with patients and colleagues
